Privacy notice
How we look after the information you share with us, in plain English.
Placeholder notice. LUMÉ is a fictional clinic and this is a template only. A real clinic must replace it with a notice that reflects how it actually handles data, and should take professional advice. Last updated: October 2026.
Who we are
LUMÉ Skin & Aesthetics (“we”, “us”) of 12 Example Street, Manchester M1 0AA is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. You can contact us about privacy at hello@lume-demo.co.uk or on 0161 496 0123.
What we collect
When you use our booking or question forms, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, phone number, email address, the treatment or concern you are interested in, your preferred appointment day and time, any message you write, and your confirmation that you are 18 or over.
Please don’t include detailed medical information in website forms. We will ask about your health in person at your consultation.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a consultation — because you have asked us to (steps before entering a contract) and with your consent.
- To keep a record of enquiries — our legitimate interest in running the clinic safely and responding to any questions later.
We do not use your details for marketing unless you separately agree to it, and we never sell your information.
Who we share it with
Form submissions are delivered to our inbox by a form-handling service (Web3Forms), which acts as our processor. Our email and booking systems may also be provided by third-party processors under contracts that protect your data. Some of these providers may store data outside the UK, in which case appropriate safeguards are used.
How long we keep it
If you don’t go on to become a client, we delete enquiry details within 12 months. If you become a client, your information becomes part of your clinical record, which we keep for as long as professional guidance requires.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for a copy to move elsewhere, and withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will respond within one month.

Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
